Sto-Rox High School seniors and their families should review the following important dates and details as graduation is quickly approaching.
Caps and gowns are available for purchase in the main office during homeroom for $30 (cash only). They are expected to arrive in early May, and students are encouraged to purchase early and hang their gowns when received to remove wrinkles.
Senior Awards Night is scheduled for Wednesday, May 20, at 7:00 p.m. in the Jr./Sr. High School Cafeteria. While all seniors are welcome to attend, those receiving awards or recognition will be notified in advance.
On Friday, May 29, seniors will begin the day with a catered Senior Breakfast at 8:00 a.m. in the cafeteria, followed by mandatory Graduation Practice at 9:00 a.m. Attendance at practice is required in order to participate in the ceremony.
The Graduation Ceremony will be held later that evening, Friday, May 29, at 7:00 p.m. on the Jr./Sr. High School football field. Seniors must report to the cafeteria by 6:15 p.m. Students who are not on time will not be permitted to join the procession. Graduation is a formal event, and appropriate attire is expected. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved indoors to the gymnasium. Each student will receive four tickets for indoor seating at graduation practice; additional tickets will not be available.
Please note that students must complete all graduation requirements and resolve any outstanding obligations, including fees for lunch, athletics, library materials, or clubs, in order to participate in the ceremony.
