During this time, we are encouraged to deepen our understanding of and advocate for the experiences of individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. At Sto-Rox School District, we recognize that students with hearing differences may require learning tools and support that are unlike those of their peers. That's why we value American Sign Language (ASL) and other communication methods that help students succeed academically. We’re excited to share the Sto-Rox Jr./Sr. High School has been selected to receive funds through the 2025 McDonald’s High School Sports Digital Fundraiser! On Thursday, October 23, McDonald’s will donate 10% of all digital sales made through the McDonald’s App directly to our athletic department.

This collaboration has brought comprehensive calming kits and dedicated spaces to help students navigate challenging emotions and develop essential self-regulation skills early on.
