The Sto-Rox School District has an update regarding false allegations being made on social media about district personnel. Please click through for additional information regarding this issue and lines of communication with the district community.

The 2023 inductees into the Sto-Rox National Honor Society were honored Wednesday night with a banquet at the Father Ryan Arts Center at Focus On Renewal. Kamron Bey, Jaymes-Cameil Bulls, Breona Griffin, and Shea Kelley were inducted.

The Sto-Rox Vikings Baseball game at Clairton set for Thursday, March 23 has been canceled and will be rescheduled, according to Athletic Director Josh Kemp. Both he and the Clairton Athletic Director will work together on determining a future date.

Sto-Rox students who go above and beyond in their studies and their behavior have been honored over the past few days.

The McKees Rocks Bridge will close in each direction on Thursday, March 23 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Since the closure overlaps with the end of the school day at Sto-Rox Jr./Sr. High School, the district wants to make sure parents are informed.

May 5, 2017. Since then, 2,145 days have elapsed. That’s 306 weeks, six graduating classes, and - most importantly - 44 games the Sto-Rox Vikings Baseball Team had gone without a win.

That streak ended Monday.

The Sto-Rox School District wants everyone, including parents and guardians to know where to turn if they have questions or concerns. The district believes in open and honest communication, especially with parents and guardians. To that end, we wanted to break down the proper flow of communication so that issues are resolved quickly and effectively.

It’s a place that could be a saving grace for Sto-Rox students who are in need. The Vikings Den opened Monday at the Jr./Sr. High School. It’s part of an effort to make sure students don't go without certain necessities during the school day.

Applications are open for an important opportunity facing students and graduates in Sto-Rox and across Allegheny County. The ‘Learn & Earn’ program is for teens and young adults aged 14-21.
