UPDATED, 10/11/23: As this Friday’s game is also Homecoming, there will be a parade before the game! Check out the times and locations of the parade below.
5:30 - Parade participants meet at Sanvito Funeral Home, 1650 Broadway Ave, McKees Rocks, PA 15136. Preparations including vehicle signage, candy bags and photographs will be done.
5:45 - Gates open for all fans. Reminder: Tickets remain the standard $5.
6:00 - Parade starts. The parade will proceed down Broadway (to the bell), turn right onto Valley Street, turn left onto Russellwood Ave. marching up to the stadium entrance.
Stadium Arrival - When the parade reaches the stadium the gates will open, vehicles will enter one at a time and deliver students to the track entrance and park in the courtyard. As each member of the Homecoming Court is delivered, they will be announced. All of this will conclude by 6:55, or five minutes before Sto-Rox kicks off vs. Brentwood.
Also of note: Small bags for medical or baby care will be allowed. If you have an issue getting through security, please ask to speak to a school administrator.
ORIGINAL POST, 8/25/23: The Sto-Rox School District is excited to announce its “Alumni Day” festivities designed to celebrate Sto-Rox graduates. This special celebration will take place Friday, October 13 - before, during and after the Vikings host Brentwood at the Sto-Rox Jr./Sr. High School Stadium. It’s going to be a special night, as that is also the Sto-Rox Homecoming Game!

We encourage football, cheerleading and band alumni to fill out this Google form so we can make sure you are counted and properly saluted. All alumni will be able to purchase tickets and enter the grounds through the High School Auditorium entrance (Door #14) along Rosamond Street. NOTE: If you do not fill out the registration form, you will not be allowed to use the auditorium entrance.
Championship Team
The 1966 and 1987 WPIAL Championship Teams from Sto-Rox will be saluted during the evening’s game. Members of the team will receive a field pass when they arrive.
Schedule of Events (all times p.m.)
4:30 - 5:30 • Alumni arrive at the High School Auditorium entrance (Door #14) along Rosamond Street.
5:30 - 6:00 • Meet & Greet at the Auditorium lobby. Appetizers and refreshments will be served.
6:30/6:45 • Alumni report to the football field to be introduced and honored at midfield.
7:00 • Sto-Rox vs. Brentwood
Halftime • WPIAL Championship Teams will be recognized at midfield at the start of halftime. This will take place before the announcement of Homecoming Court, and the Homecoming King and Queen.
