The Sto-Rox School District is still seeking two candidates to fill the remaining Region 2 – Stowe Township seats.
Applicants must be 18 years or older, of good moral character, and have lived in Stowe Township for at least one year.

ORIGINAL POST, 9/5/25: The Sto-Rox School District is seeking to fill three (3) open positions on the School Board. All open seats are for four-year terms:
Region 2 - Stowe Township: Term ends December 2027
Region 2 - Stowe Township: Term ends December 2029
Region 3 - At Large: Term ends December 2027
Per Section 322 of the Public School Code, interested candidates must be a citizen of the Commonwealth, be of good moral character, be 18 years of age or older, and have been residing in the district for at least one (1) year.

All applicants must attend a School Board meeting and participate in an interview process. Meetings are typically held in the Sto-Rox Jr./Sr. High School cafeteria. If a petition is filed with the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County, the court will hold a public hearing to review applicants and make the appointment.
