November Community Service Opportunities for Sto-Rox High School Students

All Sto-Rox High School students are required to complete 7 hours of community service per year, for a total of 28 hours, in order to graduate. Students must document these hours and turn them in to the Counseling Suite.

November Community Service Highlights:

  • Volunteer at a soup kitchen or food bank to help prepare or serve meals, or assemble food boxes for families.

  • Organize a food drive by collecting nonperishable food items to donate to those in need — see Mrs. Livingston if you’d like to start one.

  • Deliver meals through programs like Meals on Wheels or by helping deliver Thanksgiving dinners to homebound individuals.

  • Adopt a family for Thanksgiving — provide a meal and support to a local family in need. See Mrs. Livingston for details.
