Meet Brittany Linsenbigler, Sto-Rox’s Director of Student Service and Title IX Coordinator

Sto-Rox is excited to welcome Brittany Linsenbigler as the district’s new Director of Student Services and Title IX Coordinator. With more than a decade of experience in education and student services, Ms. Linsenbigler brings a deep commitment to supporting students with diverse needs and advocating for equitable opportunities.

Looking back on her journey, Ms. Linsenbigler credits her first-grade teacher, Connie Williamson, for encouraging and guiding her early on. Ms. Williamson recognized Ms. Linsenbigler potential and nurtured her love of learning during a time when her home life was filled with challenges and transitions. Her mother instilled in her a natural instinct to stand up for the underdog and advocate for equity. Later, mentors like Dr. Tricia Brown of Mental Health Solutions reinforced the importance of compassion, resilience, and integrity in leadership values—Ms. Linsenbigler continues to carry into her work today.

At Sto-Rox, Ms. Linsenbigler’s priorities include strengthening special education compliance, ensuring students are supported in the least restrictive environment, and reducing reliance on out-of-district placements by investing in strong in-district programming. She is equally dedicated to equipping staff with the tools, resources, and confidence they need to succeed.

Ms. Linsenbigler’s dedication to students and staff is rooted in both her experience and education. She earned a B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh, an M.Ed. from California University of Pennsylvania, and completed a Post-Master’s program in Special Education Supervision at Slippery Rock University. Over the years, she has worked in roles supporting students with diverse needs, including teaching in special education classrooms, serving as a Licensed Behavior Specialist, and, most recently, teaching autistic and life skills support while also serving as Interim Special Education Supervisor at Keystone Oaks High School. These experiences gave her firsthand insight into how strong leadership and personalized support can transform student outcomes.

For Ms. Linsenbigler, Sto-Rox feels like home. Having grown up in Duquesne and Homestead, she sees many similarities between her own community and Sto-Rox. That personal connection fuels her drive to build stability, foster trust, and advocate for opportunities that allow every student to thrive within their home district.
