The Sto-Rox School District held its only school board meeting of December and reorganized as new members took their seats. The Sto-Rox School District is seeking applications for a new head football coach. The chosen candidate would lead a program with a storied history, including the 1966 and 1987 WPIAL Championship Teams and many more playoff runs and keystone victories. The first day of Special Person Breakfasts, a Title I parent engagement event at Sto-Rox Primary Center, took place Tuesday morning. The breakfasts allow for a student to share a meal with one “special person” in their lives; they also feature a visit with Santa, a book and toy set from The Education Partnership and musical performances.

Third graders at Sto-Rox recently recently learned lessons about history, immigration and Thanksgiving, capping it off with a balloon parade. Click through for details!

The halls of Sto-Rox Jr./Sr. High School rang Tuesday morning with the sounds of the Sto-Rox Marching Band. A hall march was held to celebrate the start of the Winter sports season. The band, cheerleaders, and basketball players walked the halls of the Jr./Sr. High School and received praise from their fellow students.
