There was a great turnout Wednesday night for the Pop-Up Community Night held at the Sto-Rox Jr./Sr. High School. Thanks to the Pirates and Tri-State Office Furniture for helping to organize, along with our community partners who showed up to make this a true community event!

The Sto-Rox School Board on Thursday said hello to several new teachers and staff members and good-bye to one school board member and long-time teacher. The board also secured a key donation and an agreement for a new security firm to watch over the district’s three schools

Due to a resignation, the Sto-Rox School District is accepting letters from persons interested in serving as a School Director for Region 1 (McKees Rocks) through the next General Election in November. Sto-Rox Athletics will hold a Basketball Camp over two days in July to help young children learn the fundamentals of the sport. This co-ed camp will take place Saturday, July 22 and Sunday, July 23 at Sto-Rox Jr./Sr. High School. The cost is $100 per entry.
