A gateway to understanding the human body is available in the Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Therapy Technology, or SMARTT, program at Parkway West Career & Technology Center. Students who enroll in this program learn knowledge and skills that will translate into leading careers in sports medicine, rehabilitation, and exercise physiology.

The 2023 inductees into the Sto-Rox National Honor Society were honored Wednesday night with a banquet at the Father Ryan Arts Center at Focus On Renewal. Kamron Bey, Jaymes-Cameil Bulls, Breona Griffin, and Shea Kelley were inducted.

The Sto-Rox Vikings Baseball game at Clairton set for Thursday, March 23 has been canceled and will be rescheduled, according to Athletic Director Josh Kemp. Both he and the Clairton Athletic Director will work together on determining a future date.

The McKees Rocks Bridge will close in each direction on Thursday, March 23 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Since the closure overlaps with the end of the school day at Sto-Rox Jr./Sr. High School, the district wants to make sure parents are informed.
