TRAFFIC ALERT: The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) just told us there will be a short-term closure of the McKees Rocks Bridge, as needed, TODAY from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.

A regularly-schedule inspection of the McKees Rocks Bridge will force traffic down to a single, alternating lane on Thursday and Friday. PennDOT announced an inspection of the bridge over the CSX railroad tracks from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day.

A new arrival and a surprising departure marked Thursday night’s reorganization meeting of the Sto-Rox School Board. School Director Ken Hohman announced his resignation toward the end of the meeting. Earlier, the board interviewed and appointed DaLisha Hoszowski to an open seat.
