That metaphor from K-6 Academic Principal, Dr. Brooke Stebler, perfectly describes PBIS. It’s a behavioral program that is being expanded and enhanced in Sto-Rox School District.

The Sto-Rox School Board welcomed its newest member Thursday night at the Upper Elementary School. Shawn Evans was sworn-in at the start of the Combined Special Legislative Voting & Agenda Review Meeting.

There are teachers who have a lot of experience, and a lot of things on their plates.

And then, there is Suellen Engelhard.

A 26-year veteran of the Sto-Rox School District, Engelhard has built quite a resume, and she doesn’t stand still.

A new year brings a new leadership structure to the two schools where the youngest Sto-Rox students learn: Sto-Rox Primary Center and Sto-Rox Upper Elementary School.

Students who spent the summer months focusing on finishing their high school education were honored Friday with a graduation ceremony at the Sto-Rox Junior/Senior High School Auditorium.

It’s Back-To-School season, and our friends at DonorsChoose are giving teachers a boost as they prepare for the upcoming school year.

The new school year is coming up fast, and Sto-Rox schools are getting ready to bring in students and parents for a sneak preview. Open Houses will be held on Monday, August 22nd and Tuesday, August 23rd.

Sto-Rox School District has been notified by the Sto-Rox Education Association (SREA) that the Sto-Rox Teachers have ratified a tentative contract agreement.
